ok maybe the title is too clickbaity, but still i heavily dislike discord, so imma gonna rant about it lol

discord is hellhole and i would never join discord ever again, and i'm desperately waiting for discord to shut down and watch everyone go to other messaging app so that i don't need to deal with "lol f**k you, you need to have discord to socialize with other people" kind of stuff,

(and if i did join, i would make big announcement about the fact that i joined discord, but that chance of me joining discord is way lower than getting bitten by a shark, if you ever see me on discord and i didn't announce and tell everyone about it? IT'S NOT ME, IT'S IMPERSONATOR)

ok honestly, no hate for people who uses discord, i understand why you use it, it's fun to socialize with other people and be in each servers, they have cool things like bots, custom emotes, and etc, they can be pretty hilarious sometimes, i wish i could just use it like a normal person being, but i can't, because

THERE IS TOO MANY FLAWS WITH THIS APP

(plus i don't want to go back to just experience my bad memory again)

i used to use discord when i was too young to be here in the first place, honestly, i regret using discord when i was underage (i'm fourteen now), fortunately i'm glad that i didn't encounter pedophiles (thank god lol), but i sure had weird experience and i did some stuff i regret, of which i don't want to share lol

oh yea also, this app is not even secure at all, it doesn't even have end-to-end restriction like wtf, it doesn't delete your messages when you delete your account, which is weird, heck even discord may literally terminate your account if you try to use any program/script that deletes all of your messages (i'm not even kidding that actually breaks their tos), but at least victims can screenshot predator/bad person's message even when predator/bad person deletes their own account so that's cool i guess,

also there has been some scam and phishing links going on, so please be careful, you can look up on youtube about discord scams and how to avoid and prevent them

i highly recommend doing alot of research on discord, if you are interested in discord's dark secret, you can search up "discord dark secret" or "discord dark side" on youtube, there is some videos about it, and it can actually help explain alot about why i still refuse to use discord to this day.

i understand that i may sound like "i'm not like other people i'm so quirky uwu", but i'm genuine about it and at least i'm not following everyone's direction like a sheep :v

i am not apologizing for trashing on messaging software that has alot of flaws, i had to get this off my chest, however if you're discord user, that's understandable, please stay safe and be careful with your info, good luck :v /gen /srs
