(i was bored so i decided to make news post about me talking about my childhood show that i used to watch when i was little even tho anyone outside of russia probably has never heard of it before, why make news post about it? well because i can >:D)

(for the sake of this news post, i'm going to call this show smeshariki and USE russian names for characters, yes they do have english name lol almost all english dub uses english name.)

i may or may not update this news post or something like that idk lol

What is Smeshariki? to explain it as simple as possible,

It's Russian 6 minutes and 30 seconds long cartoon kids show released in 2004,

there is nine of cute ball-shaped funny animal main characters right here! :)

Back (Up) row, Left to Right: Kopatych, Sovun'ya, Losyash, Yozhik, Krosh, Kar-Karych.

Front (Down) row, Left to Right: Nyusha, Barash, Pin.

it's my childhood show, i used to watch it when i was little, i still sometimes watch smeshariki from time to time (usually re-watching episode that i already seen), kinda rarely nowadays, i still like the show tho,

if you ever go to my youtube you will notice amount of smeshariki fan video that i have made (side note: i made these videos when i rediscovered smeshariki back then) :v

so if you ever want to watch happy tree friends that is actually family friendly and sometimes features complex themes topic (i kinda stole this sentence from tvtropes again xD), then smeshariki may be your cup of tea idk

they're usually about 6 minutes and 30 seconds long (6:30 by default) (spinoffs might be different)

(yes i said this again just in case, for some reason there is alot of videos on youtube that is hours long which is usually combined with bunch of episodes in the one video, do not confuse them with one episode, unless you like watching those kind of videos xD)

if possible (if you know russian), try watching it in original russian dub start here, if not possible you can watch english dub if you want.

(searching for english dub is actually somewhat pretty easy, all you have to do is type "kikoriki" on youtube and then you can try find the episode and watch it here)

although English dub is not the best and not super great, it may still work, but I'm not even sure if there is even english subtitle tho :v

i recommend starting off with episode on early seasons (i don't recommend starting off with episode made in 2020 to present (NOT REFERING TO ENGLISH DUB OF EARLY SEASON, I'M REFERING TO EPISODE FROM NEWER SEASON), i heard that the newer (2020-present) season kinda sucks due to the fact that it's rushed lol its kinda funny at this point)

(idk which episode to recommend, i guess you can choose any episode you want to watch or you can start off with first episode lol)

anyways, the essay i have wrote here might NOT be the best, but i think i did pretty ok or meh introduction of smeshariki
